Common Questions
How do I know if someone is a registered BAS Agent?
Check the Tax Practitioners Board register at tpb.gov.au. Search by name or business name. Registration is public. If they are not listed, they are not registered and cannot legally charge you to lodge your BAS.
What is the BAS lodgement deadline?
Quarterly BAS lodgements are generally due 28 days after the end of each quarter. As a registered BAS Agent, we receive an extended lodgement schedule from the ATO which gives our clients additional time. This is one of the practical benefits of using a registered agent.
Do you only work with Gold Coast businesses?
No. We work with businesses across Queensland including the Gold Coast, Logan, Brisbane south side, and regional Queensland. We are cloud-based through Xero so location is not a barrier.
What if my BAS is overdue?
We handle overdue BAS lodgements regularly. We catch up your books, prepare the outstanding BAS, and lodge everything with the ATO. We can also help negotiate with the ATO if penalties have been applied.
What does it cost?
It depends on your business. We work on an hourly rate for the first three months while we get across your books and catch up anything that is behind. From month three we move you to a fixed monthly price. We will give you a clear idea of cost after an initial conversation.
